A Thousand Kisses
Celebration of Wholeness
a journey of healing and recognition
This series began with a longing to capture the essence of a life long love between two people and resulted in the first piece, A Thousand Kisses. A poem by Robert Herrick (1591-1674), gave me inspiration.
To Anthea: Ah, My Anthea!.
Give me a kiss, add to that kiss a score;
Then to that twenty, add a hundred more;
A thousand to that hundred; so kiss on,
To make that thousand up a million.
Treble that million, and when that is done,
Let's kiss afresh, as when we first begun.
